About this activity
A full-day private taxi through the Sacred Valley, with stops in Chinchero, the Maras Salt Pans, Moray, and Pisac, takes approximately 8 hours in a vehicle with driver, without rushing any visit.
It’s the most complete Sacred Valley tour in a single day: four iconic stops, a private vehicle, and a flexible pace. Unlike our VIP Sacred Valley Tour (which includes a guide and lunch but doesn’t reach Pisac), this taxi tour is transport and access only, at a more affordable rate.
With over a decade operating in Cusco and a 5.0/5.0 TripAdvisor rating (36 reviews), we adjust the order of the stops to what you want to see.
Itinerary
Chinchero
Chinchero is an Andean village at 3,762 m above sea level with a colonial church built on the foundations of an Inca palace, and a textile market where women from local communities weave by hand with natural dyes, often with live demonstrations of the process.
Maras Salt Pans
The Maras salt pans hold over 3,000 terraced salt pools fed by an underground spring, in use since pre-Inca times. Local families still work the salt using traditional methods, and the color contrast against the valley is one of the most sought-after photo spots on the route.
Moray
Moray is made up of concentric circular terraces believed to have been an Inca agricultural laboratory: the temperature difference between the top and bottom terrace can exceed 15°C, enough to simulate different ecological zones in a single place.
Pisac Ruins and Market
The Pisac ruins offer Inca agricultural terraces with Sacred Valley views, and the town's crafts market brings together textiles, pottery, and silver jewelry from nearby communities.
Cusco (or Ollantaytambo upon request)
Return to the agreed point in Cusco, or we continue straight to Ollantaytambo if your next step is catching the train to Machu Picchu — coordinate the route with us when booking so you don't lose time with an extra stop in the city.
